Hi harvey and Dave. Tried the cut #13circuit and a test light substituted for the coil essentially and no pulsing of light. the ecm is not trying to control the ground circuit of the coil. The pick up (cam sensor) in the distributor had been tested with the vantage on the 2 volt ac scale and shows about .5 volts ac cranking. I substituted a good dodge v8 pick up style distributor at the ecm with 1 and 9 cut out and jumpered directly to the dodge distributor and no ecm control on the coil ground. the dodge v8 will give almost .7 vols ac if spun by hand fast. couldn't find anything that wouldproduce 2 volts ac when spun by hand. Rotating either another firefly dist by hand or the dodge, 1 pulse of the pickup will trip the relay that runs the fuel pump with the key in the ignition on position. Any other ideas fellas that don't involve insurance fraud would be welcomed. I do have access to lots of lawn fertilizer though. mike
