I found that Dave taught in a manner that I could absorb the information better and brought into a shop situation in the course. Then went back into the class and went over them again, which helped out a lot. Scot Thomas Hudson Automotive, Langley November 4, 2003
Much more practical ( user friendly ) than the theoretical book knowledge gained in school. Very good level of instruction. I wish I had a greater knowledge of Automotive sensors etc. so I could focus more on what was being taught instead of trying to re learn some basics plus what the course offered. Brandon Lloyd Cloverdale Service November 4, 2004
I benefited most from the course was the understanding of inputs to PCM. The quality of instruction was excellent. I would recommend this course to other Technicians in the field. I will need to practice more in the shop. Bob Schroeder Bobs Driveline, Aldergrove November 4, 2004
The course was well taught, the instructor was clear on explaining how the components worked. I enjoyed Brad's style of teaching. I am leaving this course with a lot more knowledge than what I came with. A better understanding of electrical components function ( work ) in a vehicle. Vin Kumar Villa Automotive September 7, 2004
Good relevant content, real world, real problem. Good starting spot for diagnostics. Good understanding of engine controls is beneficial coming into a course. ie: operation transistors and computer inputs. Good prep from Brad ...... except 1995 Cirrus Code 42 case study ha ha. Thanks Brad Matt Carr John's Thistle Auto September 7, 2004
Being a shop owner it is difficult to balance running a shop with employees with all of the other responsibilities. It is easy to fall behind in tech skills. This course was an excellent way to take a lot of the guesswork out of diagnostics. It was excellent value for all the information. I would recommend this course to anyone who is serious about this trade. Excellent teacher, nice facility, Very informative. Stuart Canavor Stu's Garage September 7, 2004
Going back to basics and learning how sensors/ input and output devices using our own techniques. Use of schematics instead of flow charts. Instruction was excellent, very knowledgeable, and enthusiastic when instructing. I would definitely recommend this course. Smaller classroom sizes would benefit practical experience when working in the shop. Too many bodies doing too many things at one time. Martin Breg Carter, Pontiac, GM September 7, 2004
The paths to follow for more easily diagnosing drivability will be invaluable- Thank you. The second half of the course benefited me greatly as far as tool usage. Cam Tedford Sportsman Light Truck, Kamloops October 2, 2004
