Emissions Trouble-Shooting Through 5 Gas Analysis Level II
I thought this course covered in great detail the inter-relationship between the combustion gases and how to diagnose emissions problems by studying and comparing them. The instruction was put forth clearly and concisely. I would recommend this course to others. Norm Winter Vancouver Transmissions, Surrey February 20, 2003
Very good instruction ( knows what he is talking about). I would recommend this course to others and would like to take other courses myself. Milan Rukavina Midway Excel Tire, Surrey February 20, 2003

The instructor for the course was very good and I would recommend this course to other mechanics. His experience and knowledge helped to look at emission problems using the IM240 drive trace. Also different ways to analyze the information using graphs which was very good. The different methods to check catalytic efficiency and to use a diagnostic routine to check vehicles. Gurdeep Bhatti P. Larsen Automotive, North Vancouver March 20, 2003
Proper way of analyzing drive trace. The course was full of Real failures and repairs. Good discussions of different repairs. Instructor very knowledgeable and easy to understand and talk to. I would recommend this course to anyone interested in diagnostic and or air care work. Mark McCafferty John's Thistle Automotive, Ladner March 20, 2003
Mike showed us a unique way to graph emissions readings and how they interrelate to obtain diagnostic direction when dealing with IM240 test failures. The methods shown are not obtainable anywhere else that I have been. The course is well worth it, to be able to look through the eyes of an expert when dealing with air care failures. Harvey Chan Canadian Tire, Vancouver March 20, 2003
The course was very informative. Had good explanation of Air Care drive traces and how to best to about analyzing the trace reports. The quality of instruction and course material was very good Jason Boon Bier Motors, Abbotsford May 6, 2003

The course content and the instructor was excellent. This course should be a requirement for air care certification. Scott Waddle Precision Auto, Surrey June 2, 2003
The base lining and attack of diagnosing benefited me greatly. I hope to use this method more. Instruction was great and informative and Mike did not criticize when you were wrong. Great Job Mike!!! Louie Tolnay Precision Auto, Surrey June 2, 2003
Most beneficial, percentage vs. mass emissions graphing, general class discussion. Excellent quality of instruction. I would highly recommend to technicians. Joe Taylor, Walnut Grove Auto Tech, Langley June 2, 2003
Drive trace interpretation and plan of attack strategy was very useful. Loading cat in shop with snap throttle was excellent. Graphing with excel will be very helpful on trouble vehicles. LAMBDA explanation cleared up a lot of questions. Jordan Woodley Dave Foreman Auto Repair, Langley June 2, 2003
Typical Hi-Tek training course, great course content, well prepared and researched material with excellent delivery. Cat diagnosis and the im240 was very useful. I think the course needs one more day, it is too hard to run past 9:30pm after working 11 or so hours. Also Level I should be a prerequisite so everyone is up to speed. Greg Buerk Como Lake Shell, Coquitlam November 27, 2003
Gave me direction in performing repairs. Further knowledge of emissions repairs and air care. The instruction quality was great. Mikes methods of teaching, simplify complicated repairs. I would recommend this course to other people. Thanks Mike Matthew Higgins Austin Blue Mountain, Coquitlam November 27, 2003
Hi Dave I thought I'd let you know that I have just received a Quality Repair award from Air care. I wanted to thank you and Mike personally for helping to make this possible. The two courses that you taught that I attended are the foundation for my diagnostic skill. What I learned from you opened my eyes to the proper approach for diagnostics. I intend on improving my diagnostic skills thru taking more courses with Hi-Tek. I'm updating my resume and I hope that now I can find an employer who values advanced diagnostic techniques and the equipment to make it possible. Thanks Again George Allan April 8, 2004
Every time I come to any of Hi-Tek Training courses, I always come away with more info and ability to do my job easier. The instruction is top notch and I have told many people about your courses. Melvin Fix Granville & Avery Automotive September 14, 2004
