This course is designed to build on the Technician's knowledge of electronics used in automotive technology. The technician will perform electronic diagnostics and design that go beyond textbook applications. The course will allow the Technician to design and build electronic circuits for integration in aftermarket applications.

Event Title: Scan Tool Driveability Techniques

This course will introduce the Student to leading diagnostic techniques using a Scan tool to diagnose drivability problems. Techniques will focus on choosing and analysing PIDS for intermittent misfires. Codes p171 and p174. Scan Tool diagnostics for lack of power and hesitations. Scan tool diagnostics for rough running. The scan tool is a powerful tool for diagnostic direction when understanding which PIDS to choose and how to interpret and compare data in graphing mode. You as a Drivability technician or an up and coming diagnostic tech do not not want to miss this informative course.

Event Title: GM Ignition Diagnostics

If you are a Technician that is interested in learning quick, accurate ways of pinpointing primary ignition problems with GM vehicles, then this course is for you. This course starts with an in depth look into GM primary ignition operational strategies. The student will learn to recognize signature waveforms, ignition module strategies, and perform correct hook-up for analysis and interpretation of signals. All conventional, DIS, and C3I and Optical systems used on GM vehicles from 1988 - present will be covered. The diagnostic student book details actual diagnostic case studies and correct hook-up procedures. Learn how to perform quick primary ignition diagnostics. Get direction for no start diagnostics in under 5 minutes. Don't waste time following flow charts and performing unnecessary tests. Emphasis will be on faster primary ignition diagnostics for stumbles, stalls, misfires, chuggles, and no starts.
